01 The name
Χρεία means need.
Rechreia comes from Χρεία, the Greek word for "need" or "necessity." In classical rhetoric, a Χρεία was also a short, pointed saying — kept because it was useful.
We don't build software for the sake of technology. We identify genuine problems that businesses face and create elegant solutions that become indispensable tools for their daily operations.

Founder & software engineer
Frederyk founded Rechreia in May 2026 and builds its products end to end — from the attendance & HRM mobile app and its backend to the open-source Multi Monitor Bar extension for GNOME.

03 How we work
Three rules we build by.

Necessity-driven
Every feature has to answer a problem someone actually has. If we can't name the problem, we don't build the feature.

We'd rather ship one thing that works every day than five that almost work — tested on the phones and connections our users really have.

Our software is used by the employee clocking in at 8 a.m., not only the admin who bought it. We design for both.
